Trustees and Management Group members at a managing trauma workshop

Women seeking asylum continue to live in a hostile environment where they often feel vulnerable and isolated. Women Asylum Seekers Together (WAST), seeks to combat this by offering them a safe space, a place where their voices can be heard and an opportunity to build their skills.

We are at a crucial stage in our charity’s development and are looking for four women Trustees to join our diverse Board and help us deliver new work programmes that the women have identified as their priorities.

If you feel that you have the energy and time to contribute to this work and are committed to improving the lives of the women, we would love to hear from you.  You will need a broad range of generalist skills. We would welcome potential Trustees with lived experience or a good breadth of knowledge in the Refugee and Asylum System, finance, fundraising, partnership working.

The closing date for applications is Monday 1st March 2024.
