WAST choir at Chester Cathedral

On Saturday 30 September the WAST nightingale choir will perform at Chester Cathedral as part of their Diversity Service.

The service will be led by Bishop Julie and guest speaker Revd Dr Anderson Jeremiah. The service will have three elements, it will remember the past, celebrate the present and enable flourishing for the future.

The speaker will be Revd Anderson Jeremiah, who lectures in Theology and Politics in the department of Politics, Philosophy and Religion at Lancaster University. He was ordained as a priest in the Church of South India (an Anglican Province), before moving to Edinburgh for his PhD studies. Having experienced overt and covert racism, he seeks to find ways to work for racial justice through his academic and church work.

We hope that you can join us for this special service.

Tickets are free and refreshments will be provided.
